Lift the fruit and control the handover
The pictured arrangement lifts material from a lower washing stage to an elevated inlet. Transverse cleats support the load on the incline; the upper drive moves the belt while the side structure guides the material path.
For mango handling, the reception opening, fruit size and discharge position are considered together. A short drop into the next hopper and a feed rate that the downstream machine can accept matter as much as the height gained. This installation illustrates the conveying arrangement; the mango configuration is selected for its own fruit and process.
Fit the incline to the actual line
The equipment catalogue includes adjustable-angle elevator configurations. The support layout and adjustment method form part of the selected assembly; the photograph does not establish a particular width, lift height or speed range.
- Belt width and cleat arrangement are selected around fruit dimensions and the required feed rate.
- Lift height, inclination and support positions follow the washing outlet and the next machine’s inlet.
- The discharge chute, catch surfaces and access space are coordinated with the surrounding platform.
- The motor, speed-control arrangement and start/stop sequence are specified with the connected machines.
Keep the belt path accessible
Cleaning needs access to the load surface, cleats, side guides, return run and collection area beneath the conveyor. Fruit residue at the lower transfer and beneath the upper discharge deserves particular attention.
The photographed installation includes guarding along the incline. Cleaning and maintenance access must be arranged without requiring an operator to reach into a moving belt or drive. Isolate the conveyor before inspection, removal of trapped fruit or belt work; use the supplied machine instructions for the actual assembly.
Specify the two ends first
A useful starting point is the equipment feeding the elevator and the equipment receiving from it. Existing inlet heights or a simple layout help define the assembly. Fruit throughput is recorded as a raw-material handling duty, separate from the pulp flow later in the line.
Common questions
Can the elevator be supplied for an existing line?
Yes, it can be considered as a connecting handling assembly. Its receiving opening, discharge height, support arrangement and controls need to match the existing machines.
